History of the Little Feet Coffee Company


Before there was Coffee: To understand how our coffee company came about, you must first know about Little Feet, our soccer company dedicated to providing soccer balls to underprivileged children around the world. By going through the Little Feet website, it will become more clear how our soccer company has evolved into the Little Feet Coffee Company. This is why you see soccer balls on our coffee bags and the real reason behind our slogan: "Coffee with a Kick!"

From a soccer company to a coffee company:

During a Little Feet trip in 2008, we came upon a coffee cooperative in the foothills of Honduras where the children were playing soccer with burlap coffee sacks instead of a real soccer ball. The farmers in the community gave us some of their coffee and asked us if we could help them sell it when we returned home. They said if they got a fair price, they would be able to provide for their families. Perhaps then, their kids could play with real soccer balls, instead of the coffee sacks we saw them playing with.


We learned that in the US alone, we drink over 300 million cups of coffee per day. Of the $2 average price per cup, less than a penny will go to the farmer that grew the coffee.


So we agreed to help, and in the spirit of our mission, decided to call it Little Feet Coffee.
